MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

I am delighted to have this opportunity to pay tribute to the previous seven presidents of the Rotary Club of Dublin Central and indeed to members, past and present, for their unstinting efforts of all who work so hard to make Dublin Central the vibrant, young, dynamic, male and female professional club it is today.

Even in these difficult and challenging times, Dublin Central continues to raise awareness and much-needed funds for our local, national and international projects – Rutland School, The Irish Hospice Foundation, and the ‘Light of Massai’ charity in Kenya.

The dedication and determination shown by so many young professionals on a voluntary basis and their participation in service and community projects in achieving both goals set out by the club and by the individual members is an example to us all. Despite many distractions, they have freely undertaken tasks that have changed the lives for many.

The Dublin Central Rotary Club owes much of its success to the wonderful team effort of the members and the Council who, together with the President, provide outstanding leadership and support to all those who are involved in our projects.

I wish all of us continued success in our worthy Rotarian endeavours.
