Dublin Central was chartered in August 2001 by Rotary International World President, Rick King. The club celebrated that the formation of the club with a charter dinner the following month. September 2011 marks the 10th anniversary of that charter dinner when a group of friends joined forces in the name of Rotary.
The ten intervening years has seen our club make a very real difference to the community of which it is a part, including local, national and international projects. The Rotarians of Dublin Central have also played a very significant part in the wider Rotary organisation, by serving at District, Rotary International in Britain & Ireland and Rotary International level.
We’re celebrating the success of these ten years with a black tie anniversary dinner on Saturday, 3rd September 2011. We will be joined by District Governor Barney Callaghan and we would like you to join us too at the Stephen’s Green Hibernian Club at 7.30pm.
